jamming/creating records through the net?

me and my friend in sacramento are band-less ,bored and stuck in college so we decided to send tracks to each other (he's the drummer btw)  and make some cover songs anyway have any of you guys tried this?

also i wanna know kung may naka-gawa na ng realtime na jamming through the net and what methods did you use to approach this....

... tsaka wala akong band ngayon (iceandnails broke up) pero if cd compilation lang marami akong produced tracks dito sa bahay--- solo [gooey brown stuff] ... hahaha

kaw me banda ka? anyway kaya rin ako ngcreate nung thread nato kasi aside from the solo stuff im currently (taking all my time) making tracks with another fellow alumni jantoy sadorra (yung drummer nung silicon carne--- ah ewan ko pero kapatid ni bantigue yung vocalist nun--baka you know her) who is in california .... so medyo mabagal lang ngayon kasi ngthethesis ako... pero that's what ido right now

Bro, parang may napanood ako sa YouTube a year ago na nagjajam sila via webcam. Tapos yung banda nila nagkaron ng "actual gig" sa isang talk show sa States. Nakalimutan ko lang kung anong show yun. Naging sikat yung bandang yun sa internet noon. Search mo na lang kapatid.
