demm demm..now ko lang na discover, naka-standby yung amp ko since last night...naka on sya for more than 24 hours! wahhhh

i havent checked yet kung me sira kasi late na dito, i cant plug my guitar ...i hope i didnt screw it up.

me effect ba to sa tube life kahit na naka standby sya? di kaya sunog yung board? naku..suspense bukas ko pa malalaman...

The tube gurus say that tubes will last longer if they were in standby for a longer time.  It is the on/off cycle that shortens tube life.  So if you left your amp on stdby for more than 24 hours, I assume it'll be ok.  Much better if you played your amp right upon discovering you left it on...

just to really give you piece of mind...I just biased my amp and used a bias rite....when the amp is set on standby ....my DVM reads zero....so no current is in the power tubes.

Preng Sonny... don't believe what all these so-called musicians say. I did that one time, left my amp on stand-by for a day and a half. Came back and the damn tube amp started picking AM Tagalog news. Weird!

The best thing to do. To save you greif, I Paypal, moneygram, money transffer you the amount of shipping and you can ship me the amp and I'll get it out of your sight forever. This way you won't be disappointed, hehehe :twisted:  :lol:

sonny - relax lang. i've left new and used tube amps ON (not just standby, ON talaga) ON PURPOSE overnight to burn the tubes in and let the components "get to know each other better."   mas maganda nga if you lined-in some music para pati speaker na burn in.  on stand-by for 24 hrs -- that's nothing to write home about.

natural lang mag shorten ang tube life but everytime we use our tube amp, we are actually slowly but surely killing the tube. comes w/ the territory altho makes you think twice about buying super expensive NOS tubes, di ba?  tama si skunky, mas malakas sumira yung yung patay-sindi ng amp.

whew!! last nite nasindak lang ako kasi pati yung control panel kasi nung e super init!! kakatuwa pa, tinawanan lang ako ni esmi dahil para daw ako nakakita ng multo nyahaha

Delta and Skunk, salamat ganon pala yun...well at least na break in ko na yung tubes.di ko na natest kagabi kasi ala una ng umaga na nung nadiscover ko..maya i try ko ulit.

Stratman...sige ship ko sa yo :) remember its a 40 kilo amp..patay ka sa shipping!

progressive ... 220V dito sa yurup  :lol:

salamat guys..at least di na ko syado nerbiyos.

Hehe. At least ayos na ang amp mo, man.

Next time try mong buhusan ng German Lager ang tubo habang naka on. Sabi nila with this process you will get that $4200 boutique German amp sound, haha! :lol:  Loko lang, hehe :lol: Enjoy your amp!

No need to worry about leaving the amp on standby because no plate voltages are running through the tubes. The worst case scenario will be a busted heater filament but that obviosly didnt happen coz your amp is working. Hope this helps give you peace of mind. :D

anyway, pede pala iwan na 24 hours yung amp... pero aksaya sa tubo! hehehe.   ako sa gig, kahit hindi kami una, naka swtich on na para pag kami na, nag-aalab na yung  tone... hehe

oo, ang init nga ng tube amps... yung diezel nga ni oasgomez parang pwede mo na lutuan ng shawarma sa init nung sinubukan namin eh, hehe. nakakatakot pala magka-tube amp, hehe. wala bang case mods yun parang mga PC? hehe.

hindi cherry gil, pero mala senyora Aguida ng Flordeluna hehe. nah di si esmi ang culprit, ako nakaiwan.

shawarma ala-dubai. yung malaking-malaki yung chunk of meat na nasa skewer, hehe. hindi shawarma ala-kamuning, hehehe.
