Kukays Jam is one of the respected bands in Pinoy Reggae Scene
Kasabay nila yung Peace Pipe (dating CozaNostra) and Collie Herb sa First RastaManila sa Mayric's 2003 after being discovered by Sazi Cosino sa San Miguel Oktoberfest 2003, hindi alam ng marami na tinalo nila ang Join the Club noon sa battle of the bands
Narinig ko yung mga kanta nila sa NU 107 Dread at the Control by Papadom noong 2004-06... Papadom liked their diversity in playing reggae fused with rock, traditional and euro-reggae styles...
Di raw sila rasta, kasi wala naman daw talagang rasta sa Pinas... Pero they play reggae, pop and rock music.. Technical musicians sila and nakafocus sila sa music, hindi sa porma... In fact, kinuha ng Cocojam yung bassist to play for them in 2005. Yung drummer naman nag-session sa Tropical Dep nung 2007.
They were even once managed by Erwin Galang of Brownbeat allstars and former tropical Dep keyboardist
