question about ic lm386

guys i need some help...

i'm trying to make a mini amp for my diy practice amp...

i've built the speaker and the cabinet already... what's left is the electronics.. the amp itself..

bali ganto po yun.. i followed 2 diagrams already and it didnt work.. but the 2nd diagram i used there was some improvements...

when i tested it this is what happens..

pag nakaoff yung switch ko the LED turns off.. pero the sound still continues.. equal volume kahit nakaon..
and still i can control its volume using the pot connected to it,,,

then pag nakaon the LED turns on.. pero ganun parin yung sound level..

san po kaya yung mali ko?? huhu

anyways.. sige po i'll  post the schematics soon.. kaso po sabi ni mang raul defective yung nabili kong ic.. namely the lm386,, di daw kasi orig.. from deeco lang kasi.. haha

so i plan to find the place called gizmo sa vito cruz daw ata yun.. haha

pero kalikutin ko pa to.. haha

nga pala sir bamf.. alam mo ba kung san nakakabili ng 0.33mF metal film caps, mallory caps and hoveland tone caps???

Ke ja-peyk naman gumagana pa din naman yan. Mas hindi japeyk sa Alexan.

Ganito gawin mo. use an IC socket para di mo ma-damage ang IC pag hinihinang. MGa japeyk madali talaga masira pag hindi refined ang soldering technique mo.

Metal films, bihira, iniimport pa yan. The last auricaps I got my hands on, I had to buy from www.cedist.com

for electronic components you cant find at deeco or alexan try buying from rs components.  just choose a component then deposit the payment at their bank account then they send it directly to your doorstep.  http://philippines.rs-online.com/web/

anong switch yun? pag power switch at may tunog pa wrong connection at di sira ang ic,, pag gain/sensitivity switch or distortion/clean switch malamang may sira ang ic or bad connection/ bad circuit,,, check mo circuit mo,,

thanks bro... hehe.. nabago ko na.. pero this time wala talagang tunog.. pero when i turn it on and off may pop sound sa speakers.. hehe

anyways.. nandito si mang raul maya... i'll let him see it na... thanks guys!
