Morally-forbidden acts in the studio

Yeah yeah there are rules in YOUR studio (home/project or pro) but I want to know the more morally objectionable things you impose on your clients. 

Sometimes when we (studio workers) are too busy hitting record, some clients (waiting for their turn) miraculously "disappear" and you never know if they are in the bathroom smoking a joint, or making out with their groupies (while their wives know they are "at work" in the studio.)

Of course, stealing is a crime although having a nice relationship with the artist kind of prevents this from happening.

Hmmm.  I just dunno if GNR's "Rocket Queen" erogenous moan recordings (Axl and Steve Adler's GF doing it on a console) was staged...

to many people inside the booth.. for example maliit yung booth mo .. so syempre nandun lahat ng members, nag uusap, maingay, nangenge-alam sa ginagawa mo..

tska yung smoking joint, thats a no-no... if you want to unleash your "creativity" do it somewhere else.

mukhang fully packed lagi ang studio ni skunk eh.. siguro nga buy a CCTV camera..

in my experience, pag nag record kami sa studio ..wala kaming iniitinding kasunod.. maganda yung scheduling ng studio na nirecordan namin. almost everytime kami lang for the day or kung may kasunod mga after 2 hours pa after namin matapos. 4-6 hours lang pina pa reserve namin.

check your schedules din skunk, maybe you're accomodating too much and that makes your anxiety level high ..

para sa akin kahit na hindi morally basta BAD hehehe 
1. yung kumakain sa loob ng studio
2. pinapakialaman yung ibang instruments (guitars, basses) ng walang pahintulot.
3. nag iingay yung ibang players habang me nag rerecord.
4. maraming tanong sa engr tungkol sa gear o instument ex.saan nabili, ano magandang mic pre etc etc / tanong sa recording software ex. ano maganda, paano ginagawa yung ganito ganire..
5. naghahanap ng WALA sa studio like guitar na vintage , mic na vintage, snare drum na metal ang tunog , guitar effects (hardware) etc etc..
6. pinapakialaman yung mic placement ng condenser mic na parang karaoke mic yung naka kabit dito at pinupuwersa yung mic stand na mapuwesto ng tama eh me adjustment namang
    puwedeng gawin ( sarap putulin kamay ng mga ito hehehe)
7. tinotoktok yung condenser mic at sinasabing "is this thing on"? habang nakikinig ka at nag momonitor ng levels... grrrr.. sarap saksakin ng drum sticks sa tenga mga ito.
8. masyadong makilos sa pagkanta kaya iba iba yung levels na narerecord tapos tatanungin ka bakit me mga mahinang portion sa kanta hehehhe..
9. masyadong malakas pumalo sa drums kulang na lang butasin yung snare drum mo at hatiin yung cymbals hehehe.
10. mag rerecord tapos sasabihing hindi kaya ang rate mo... ( sorry yan lang ang kaya ko o ito lang budget eh) ito ang the best.!!!

2. Bawal magdala ng BATA unless bata yung magrerecord.
3. Iwasang TUMALSIK ANG LAWAY sa POP FIlLTER.
4. Bawal umutot sa Booth ( kasi ma-pipick-up ng mic...)
5. Masamang pakinggan ang MAGHIKAB na may TUNOG.
6. Manatili muna sa salas habang hindi mo pa oras magrecord.
7. Iwasang magsiksikan sa loob ng control room kasi masikip.
8. Magdala ng sariling stick, instrument cables, reserbang strings, atbp.
9. Huwag gagalawin ang mga absorbers sa loob ng booth. At huwag gawing HIGAAN pls lang.
10. Kung wala kayo sa mood kumanta, huwag pilitin.
11. Walang maingay dito sa loob. Ang maingay PANGIT.

i don't run a commercial studio and most folks that do go into my space know how to handle studio equipment as well so it isn't as big of a problem for me. however, for folks that just visit and take a look only one rule explicitly applies: please, don't touch my sh*t:)

as for erogenous moaning.....don't think i've ever done "it" on top of a console...lol. i don't think i'd be very attentive, especially when i am constantly thinking - "Uh, honey? Please take your hands off the channel strip, don't lean on the rack compressor and please stop tugging on the patchbay cables, you're gonna ruin my routing path."
