were planning to buy a
ddrum DD1 Drum Module and RedShot Trigger Pack
my question is this,
do we still need a soundcard for computer to make a drum
track to be multitrack?
or if we buy this kit,all we need is to connect it to a pc
or mixer and we can make it a multitrack?
our quest is to record a drumtrack and to record it to a multitrack
we only had a mixer ,a pc, a set of drum mic
but still we are confused on what to do
tnx in advance!
yes it can be multitracked.
if you buy triggers, you still need to use mics kasi hindi mo naman pwedeng itrigger ang cymbals. its possible but i wouldnt even suggest doing that because real mic'ed cymbals sound better.
dude ganito:
1. kailangan mo pa rin kahit 4 channel usb interface, make sure merong midi in port - dito mo ikakabit yung midi ng dd1 module
2. you still need to buy 1 pair of condenser mics for overheads, 1 kick drum mic, 1 snare mic. another option is get 1 snare drum mic and 3 condenser mics: 1 pair for overheads, 1 for hihat
