Martin & Pops goes digital at Clark EXPO

just wanted to share some pics of the recent Martin & Pops concert at the Clark Expo.

System Designer & FOH Engineer was Mr. Rene Cruz (EFX).   The system specified was an RCF powered system for FOH, Subs & stage monitoring.

The system was in some ways totally digital. Not only were 2 digital consoles were used but audio distribution & splits were done via an AVIOM Digital system.

there were no external processing because all dynamics, processing, EQs for FOH & Monitors were all internal with the Digi VENUE systems

• 24 x RCF TTL-33A Powered 3-way system
• 4 x RCF TTS-28A Powered Dual 18" Subs
• 6 x RCF 4PRO-6001A Powered 3-way (extreme sides of the venue)

                 

Monitors:  

• 4 x RCF ART-725A (Frontals)
• 3 x RCF ART-322A (Backup Singers)
• 2 x RCF TT-25A (Bass & Guitars)
• 4 x RCF ART-325A (1st & 2nd Keyboards)
• 1 x RCF ART-725A (drums)

What i see in most shows (mostly concerts like Summer Slam, Earth Day Jam, etc.) is that we have all the technology pero bakit parang tunog Eraserheads era parin? Compared to foreign artists na nag coconcert dito, bakit ang layo ng tunog ng live mix ng mga shows natin sakanila?

and this goes to each person of the band, technical staff, & production....... individually & collectively.

when those things align, then you will have the show at par with the best shows.
