Drum Guru Doug Webber from GearGuruz.com play 4 crash cymbals from different manufactures so you can compare and pick your favorite. And also let's try to guess what's the Brand name and model if possible.

Mine is

1  Zildjian-Probably K Lines
2  Paiste-Either Signatures or 2000
3  Sabian-AAX or AA's
4  Might be a B8 cymbal. ZBT or B8. (Well baka Fast Crash ren sha)

Just shows that no matter what crash you use for recordings. No one(or few) will care what crash you're using. Hehehe. I Used a Paiste 502 crash before for a recording and really one of the best recorded crash i had. :-D

agree ako sa hula ni sandy.
pero ung umber 4 for me is a fast crash na ZHT i think. hindi siya super brightto be a B8 alloy cymba for me eh.

3 and 1 were the best for me. they actually complement each other hahaha
hahaha ako binibiyak ko muna yung wetpaks para makita kung may yellow thingy hahahaha

3, 2, 4, 1 ang akin

Guesses:
I think 3rd one is an Avedis or AA Medium-Thin.
I have no idea what the 2nd is.
4th one might be a A Custom.
1st sounds like a Paiste... 2002?

Pansin ko descending sila in pitch from 4 through 1.

My choice is 3. I have no idea what it is but it sounds a lot like my A Custom 16" Fast Crash.  :-D

2, 3, 1, 4 ako.

example: i'm using A custom med crash.then after the recording process, tunog K dark thin crash na sya.
watch your problem? ;p

kung mixing lang din, malamang pantay EQ nyang mga yan para sure na, if not accurate, ay close to accurate ang recording.

about sa mic placement, may effect kaya sa pitch nung cymbal yung pwesto nung mics?
