HELP: macbook or dell xps

I'm planing to buy a laptop, should i settle with an Apple MacBook MB466LL or Dell XPS M1330 Laptop?

can you give me any advantages and disadvantages of the two? anf if you are to pick what will it be?

definitely a mac, mas stable ang os, in terms naman kse of hardware specs theyre the same eh. just my two cents.

tama. well in any other brands naman, dapat you make sure to extend the hardware warranty because you might never know what's gonna happen with the unit.

Good question, in terms of vulnerability against viruses, people have these perception na porke mac os na, hinde na sya vulnerable against viruses.

Definitely, it's still vulnerable to get viruses.

I'll go for MAC. Biased opinion though since I have MacBook Pro.

It's not thru though that Mac is virus proof. To me it's less vulnerable lang sa tingin ko dahil konti lang meron so hacker's tend to go for Alpha market which is windows. Right now, i think mac is the beta for OS, so ala pa masyado naglipana virus designed for it and kung meron man mac support & security addresses it agad agad.

Anyway, i suggest go for MAC.

brod wag k mag dell xps m1330.. ganyan sakin 1 yars and 2 months palang bumigay n videocard.. it means palit mother board na ang sulution. puro china ang loob ng dell xps m1330

For me, it depends on what you're planning to use your Laptop for.

If you're into heavy multimedia production stuff, better get the mac, but I'm not saying that Mac can't be used for the office setting, it's also an excellent choice for the office setting but I think you'd get more if you'd use it for multimedia. But, for me, one of the main advantage of having the Mac is that you'd get the best of both world. You can install Windows in it via bootcamp.

If, you'd like to play a lot of games on your laptop, get a Dell XPS, or if you're really heavily dependent on Windows-Based Apps.

When it comes to viruses, it's a myth that Macs are virus free or virus proof, it's just that people who make viruses don't see Mac as a big enough target.

Security wise, i'd say both are very vulnerable.
