Remember. Marvin Gaye was shot dead by his father a day before his birthday. Marvin Gaye was a session drummer as well although drumming wasn't the reason why he was shot by his father, who was a preacher.

Did you know that the original spelling of their last name is actually Gay? Marvin just had an "e" added when he became know and because he was being constantly teased in school when he was young. And the irony of it all is that not only he is a drug addict and a sex addict, he is also a "HOMOPhobe".
