Idikit mo lang sa plywood.  Or, staple it.  Use dense at least 48 kgm glass fiber which come in 2.4 X 1.2 X .050 sheets.

Bili ka ng POLYLITE with its Hardener.
You may TINT the Polylite with Cobalt. And important din to kasi ito yung ... hirap i-explain pero parang it acts as adhesive between the THREE ( Plywood, Fiber, and the Polylite. )
Dont MIX the solution yet.
Test mo muna ang ratio ng Polylite and Hardener bago ka mag-mix ng madami.
Apply Moderately.
Apply that ( brush ) after stapling the fiber to the plywood. Pwede mo din ibuhos ang solution, just make an appropriate mix per side of the baffle...
Hintayin mong matuyo ( in minutes ) bago ka gumawa ng another MIX para sa susunod na side...TITIGAS yan in minutes. or even seconds kung matapang yung hardener.
Pag natuyo, paint it if you want. Pero maganda na yun kahit di mo pintahan ng Black.

AVOID COBALT!!! sasabog yun kapag nagkamali ka ng mix. dati gumagamit talaga nun pero hindi na kailangan ngayon.

sa polymer products ako bumibili ng materials. all you need are glass matting, resin and hardener.

3. use a paint brush to apply the resin. padutdot/patusok/patulak ang pag-apply ng resin at wag yung parang nagpipintura na motion. yung ibang tindero mabait. pwede ka magtanong sa kanila kung pano mag-apply at mag mix ng resin at hardener. meron ding instructions dun sa likod ng hardener kung gano karami ang ilalagay mo sa per liter ng resin.

4. SOBRANG MAKATI para sa beginner kaya punta ka ng ukay-ukay at bumili ka ng pantalon at long sleeves. protection sa kati ng matting yun. tapon mo na pagkatapos gamitin. dont wash it and dont mix it with your other clothes.

5. lacquer thinner ang panglinis ng kamay kung nakapitan ka ng resin. gamit ka rin ng rubber gwantes na panglaba.


pero ang pinakapayo ko sa yo, wag mo na gawin. hindi worth yung kati. pagawa mo na lang dun sa mga gumagawa ng bumper/fender/body kit ng sasakyan

May PREMIX na rin na nabibile.... pero yung hardener syempre hiwalay. NO ITCH ito. Kailangan lang mabilis ka, planado, at tantyado ang timpla. Madali lang gawin.

yes it does and it was demonstrated to us during the seminar back in high school (better safe than sorry). your grandfather knows what he's doing but hayewire has zero knowledge. its dangerous to mix cobalt with another accelerator (forgot the name already).

there are also tinting chemicals without cobalt that you can mix with the resin. it looks like textile paint but its for fiberglass.

It's entirely possible that cobalt caused his heart attack. Read up on the dangers of cobalt if used improperly.

The first time i did buy i did mix all components myself including cobalt. I did not like that procedure.

The last time i did buy hardener it was mixed already only add one more component.
Never use metal cans for mixing, very dangerous, better read this before starting:
