PLS HELP! Can any midi controller be used to control volume and pan in Audition?

Hi 

I hope someone can help. Kabibili ko lang ng Oxygen8 Midi Controller, yung maliit na keyboard na may 8 knobs (version 1). Actually, ipanglilive ko lang naman talaga dapat siya, pero since nasasayangan ako dun sa 8 knobs, i now wonder kung magagamit ko ba yun sa Adobe Audition 3. Pero not to control softsynths po. Rather, i want to control kahit yung kanya kanyang volume lang at pan ng mga track.

I already tried going to
Edit --> Keyboard Shortcuts and MIDI Triggers

and nadedetect nga talaga nya pag ginagalaw ko yung knob. I tried setting the first knob to control "Transport Play/Stop Toggle" (it's the same command na nangyayari when you press the space button sa pc),

yung lumabas lang na Midi Trigger ay "Controller:19, Value:127"

but...nothing happens kahit galawin ko yung knob during mixing. pero as usual pag priness ko space nagpplay na.

Also i can't seem to find the Volume Control command that i can assign to be controlled with a knob.

Is what i'm trying to do even possible? Or kailangan ko talaga ng Mackie Control or BCF200?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

kaya lang mine isn't the v2 version eh, walang presets.

actually i think the problem is Adobe Audition, wala siyang listahan ng mga pwedeng gamiting controller aside from the Mackie....

only shows how great it is to use Pro Tools over other DAWs. BTW, Axiom Pro might come in handy in situations like this since it has Hyper Control that automaps transport, pan and level controls of any DAW.
