Guitar String Action for Metal Music?

Which one is advisable regarding on the string action on Metal Music genre...
As in metal musick similar to Metallica,Megadeth,Pantera or Slayer..

Is it LOW STRING ACTION or HIGH STRING ACTION?

rhythm ba o lead? pag lead, siguro pinaka maganda low action pre. shredding yan eh. pero depende sa type mo din siguro, pag ako low...

regardless of any genre, it all depends on the guitarist on where he's comfortable.

there are no rules bro.. if it sounds good then its good! some like low action, ako kahit ano basta ok yung tunog pero low action trip ko eh

low action - prone to buzz and good for shredders
high action - fuller sound, ssuuuussstaaiiiiinnnnnn and good for breakdowns

if i were you, i'd go in between the two. :-)

my opinion is on string gauges... if you do a lot of shred and barely any rhythm.. i suggest you go for medium light gauges... if you do a little of both and maybe tune to D lowest, then go for medium gauge 09-42's... and if you go lower than D... get .10-.52's

from my experience, a little fret buzz in the bass strings actually help in making the riffs sound more evil.

just a little......  :evil: too much and they'll sound like 5hit
