hmmmm ang alam ko Pearl target = entry level lumang pearl forum ito, while tama superstar is a mid level kit.... correct me if Im wrong, kalevel ng target would be imperial star I guess... forums are now made with poplar shells, dati yata basswood im not sure. tama superstars are made with basswood-birch-basswood combination... so magkaiba sila ng wood and construction

hahahah sinusubukan ko talagang mag ipon boss.kaso atat nako hahah! kayo jan sir baka may kakilala kayo na  mag qquit na sa dums at naka double bass set up tas gusto na ibenta!sabihan nyo ako mga boss hanggang 20k ang budget ko!(kaso ipangungutang ko yan hahah)

15k na kit? kahit single bass? meron ako hahaha, lazer refinished kit + b8 cymbal set (crach on 16 crash)+ extra hardware

oo nga po sir mejo mahal yan.pag tinignan ko yung used na fernando at lazer talaga nakakadismaya.hahah baka di lang siguro naalagaan ng mga seller.nakagamit na ako ng lazer at fernando sa mga studio e decent naman ang tunog nya.naalagaan lang mabuti.kaya im considering din ang mga brands na ito kung may magbenta ng maayos.basta double bass FTW ahahah

Hi guys,

lately ive been reading about the double bass drum setup and i really want to give it a go.

problem is, i cant find another bass drum similar to mine. i have an old yamaha dp series. i've looked for a yamaha dp bass drum here and in other buy&sell sites (ebay, sulit...etc) and i cant seem to find anyone selling that.

question is, if i go for a different brand/make of a bass drum, would it be difficult to get them to sound similarly? difficult but possible naman kaya?

as far as i know, the yamaha dp bass drum is made of philippine mahogany (pls correct me if im wrong), no ideas on the number of plys though. could you recommend me a certain brand/make of bass drum similar in make and construction to the yamaha dp?

any input will truly be appreciated.
