one of my machine heads on my bass needs repair. driving me crazy

Meron ba na nagaayos nun?  What's wrong with it? If the gear is worn or loose mahirap ayusin.  You're better off replacing the machine.  It may be cheaper in the long run

i'd but a set kaya lang sayang kasi all the hardware is this matching plated metal e.
the machine heads, the knob and the bridge.

Uh oh.. I think putol na yan. Definitely needs replacement. Had the same problem sa isang machine head ko dito sa bahay, although sa guitar yun. Same thing happened.

Usually yung mga ganyang yari ng machine heads ay hindi nabubuksan, designed sila na parang self lubricating. Or kung mabubuksan pa, then I'm wrong.

bad trip. i might have to replace the set, 5 string pa naman. muka ngang punit yung weld.

i opened it up and saw a screw sa loob na gave me a glimmer of hope. yun nga lang, you have to open the back.

kahit sa google walang info on how to open this thing.

bakit parang spot welded na yung mga gears? narepair na kaya sir to dati? well i think for replacement na talaga yan
