Samsung or Sony would be great.

If you have HDMI in your PC that's going to make a LOT of difference.

get an HDTV 32" or bigger. ok yung suggestion ni bgomez na samsung basta hdtv para 1920x1200 ang resolution.
Just make sure your videocard supports HD movies.
I think all videocards higher than ATI HD3650, Geforce 8600GT supports HD

My guess is that your video car doesn't have an HDMI.

although if i'm correct you can still use the DVI in your video card. I'm just not sure if that would affect your video quality or not.

I've been seeing a lot of good Samsung screens, although IMO Sony is still up there, I guess it's
because of their built-in video processing. However, if you're going to have a separate video card to worry about the video processing stuff, then Samsung is really a great option. I just don't know about the pricing though. Cheers!

I have no idea about LG. My tip is always to look for the high-end products first and see how great they are in terms of video quality, and then use that as a benchmark. Sure, the lower-end products won't be as good as the higher models but atleast you know what kind of picture quality you'd want to have. If you know someone who can tweak video outputs then you might want them to fine tune your new screen for you. Believe me, even the best screens won't look good if it is not fine-tuned correctly. Happy hunting!

Thanks bro! Actually, pinagpipilian ko pa between 32" LG or Samsung (way beyond my budget pala yung LG)  :oops:

How about yung 32" ng DEVANT? okay naman kaya tong brand na to?  :? (mura kasi eh..  :-D)

and what is the difference ng HD Ready VS. Full HD?  :?

Thanks!

I've seen a Devant screen, doesn't impress me much. But that's just my take on it, if you think you can live with the picture quality, then I see no reason why shouldn't buy one.

here's a link you might want to check out for your HD ready-Full HD question:

Thanks bgomez for the HD Ready vs Full HD question.... (now i know...  :lol:)

pwede na siguro kahit HD Ready lang, ang sabi naman dun ay ganito;
"Images may distort slightly, so it’s not perfect but you still get amazing picture quality with Blu-ray Discs™, upscaled DVDs and PLAYSTATION®3 games."

and may nakita nga pala ako sa box nung videocard ko, may nakalagay dun na HDMI. though wala ako makita sa likod ng cpu nung sinasabi ni edalbkrad na;
"Check mo likod ng videocard kung may butas na parang USB rin ang itsura."

wala ngang HDMI port ang Geforce 9600gt.

pero pre kung bibili ka ng lcd, automatic naman ngayon na may HDMI ports yang mga yan. lalo na yung mga lcdtv. ang tanong mo na lang eh kung hanggang anong resolution ang kaya(720p, 1080i, 1080p).

kung ikaw yung tipo na matagal bago mag upgrade, better get an lcdtv that is capable of 1080p resolution.
