yung gitara ko po kasi hindi ko ma fix yung tono niya. Okay ako sa eletronic tuner pag open strings pero sablay yung mga nota ko sa 12th fret onwards. Naghanap ako mgas lesson sa net about intonation and trust rod adjustment taz try ko rin pero hindi ko pa rin masolve.  Ganun pa rin sablay tunog ko sa 12th fret onwards lalo na sa 1st string medyo flat yung tono. Nakakailang tuloy mag solo panu ko aayusin yun? Anu ba mga dapat kong iconsider para maibalik ko siya sa dating condition niya? By the way yung model pala niya is Epiphone Special II na sunburst color. Need your help mga master.

minsan pag luma strings mo may notes talagang sintunado,try to change them..o kaya bring your guitar to a luthier,dati yung guitar ko nagkaganyan din,may pinupukpok yung luthier ko..fretwires..tapos nun okay na!

kailangan itama mo muna yung set-up ng truss rod mo, dapat ndi maxado bent yung neck pero hindi rin straight na straight. tapos i'm guessing naka tune-o-matic bridge ka?

ganito mg adjust ng intonation:
itune mo yung guitar mo with open notes siguraduhin mo spot on ang tuning.
tapos using your tuner, pluck the note on the 12th fret.
kung sharp yung note tighten the saddle screw on your tune-o-matic it means kailangan ng mas mahabang string length nung string para maging match sila nung open note. wag mo kakalimutan luwangan yung string bago ka mg adjust ng tune-o-matic. then work your way through each string.

walang ano man bro. subukan mo lang ng subukan, para next time na may problema ka alam mo agad ang gagawin wag ka matakot i explore yung guitar mo kasi kung ikaw ang gagawa matututo ka kung pano mag react ang guitar at maii adjust mo sa personal na taste mo yung guitar. cheers!!

sabi nya from the 12th fret, wala akong ibang alam na possible problem kundi yung intonation. pwede pa kung nag palit sya ng string gauge. kahit na stable yung tuners nya hindi talaga tatama ang note pag mali yung intonation. cheers!!

aside from intonation, there's a chance of incorrect fret spacing or worse, the bridge is too close or too far from the nut. it happens, regardless of brand. my suggestion would be to have it checked by a professional. tutal, na-try mo na naman ayusin mag-isa e (to no avail).

Had this problem before on my 2nd axe, kahit ano gawin talagang sablay ang intonation. when I had it checked by Mang Jun sabi niya mali raw ang neck placement at di tama yung scale. kung bolt-on yan kailangan iurong ang neck pero pag set-neck goodluck na lang dahil ang kailangan na galawin eh yung bridge.

buti nalang bolt on yung epi special II, kung ndi madami xa sakit sa ulo..

I think it's intonation. One of the tests if the guitar is intonated is if the 12th fret harmonic is in tune with the pressed 12th fret.

it's more precise not to use harmonics while setting up the intonation.. just tune the open string spot on.. cheers!!üü
