the 15w line 6 spider III amp

i like this amp considering the price and the stuff it has in it. i think the crunch drive is great.

lately though, it's been pissing me off. at low volumes (in the clean setting), it cuts off and when i turn the volume up, it comes back on but sounds significantly different. anyone else here have this problem?

i hear that this is common with 15w amps.

I have this problem too on my amp.  It's also the same as yours Mr. TS.  Damn digital sound.

i wonder if it's just a case of dust getting into the knobs? maybe i should spray it with contact cleaner?

15w or lower amps tends to sound boxy.

if you're talking about the Line6 spider.... why use a multi-effects? di pa ba keri nung built-in effects ng amp?.. sayang lang..

it might sound too digital altogether din..

Sell the Spiders and buy a Vox Pathfinder. Then buy pedals!

line 6 amps as i see and hear it are not that pedal friendly. for the me-25 in particular, the only way to actually know is to try it. some pedals works fine with line 6 spider.

ounga eh , kary na ng line 6 spider 3 ang effects pero pag performance wala akong pedal mahirap na lalapitan pa ang amp , napag isipan ko din na ibenta na lang at bibili ng bago ....

konti lang talaga kayang gawin ng 15W na Line 6 Spider 3. yung 75 W pataas mas maraming amp type/channel. if you really want a more varied tone tapos di mo naman kailangan na malakas na amp, its better to get the pathfinder and complement it with the pedals of your choice.
