I was able to try both pedal on the last South EB I attended. I like both pedal but for me, The Demon Drive stands-out more.

Although the Axis is very fast, for me, it lacks power and for me again, im having trouble controlling the speed. Because of its sensitivity I guess. I was having problems in stopping, wierd huh!?

On the Demon Drive, it was easy to control the pedal, its like when you think of stopping your foot from moving, it also stops. Its like part of your leg or something. Plus the power is good.

Well, im no expert and some may not agree with me with this but im just bassing this on my experience hehehe. Every drummer have a different setting and feel on what kind of pedal they want.

Just my 2 cents...

though kung sa lakas naman ang paguusapan, you wont need that much power if your only using if at home or for some practices. and during gig's the bass are mic-ed naman. though not all. kaya malas nalang kung nasa gig ka na walang mic. :-D

availability naman and DD JB ang dealer, Axis pwede ka umorder kay sir Vinci http://www.thedrumshopmanila.com/. sya ang authorized local distributor ng Axis and he gets all his Axis products direct form Axis Percussions so no problem sa parts.

ako nakagamit na din po ako ng mga direct drives, lahat maganda eh, pansin ko lang since pedal ko yung dd, mas may napapansin ako di kagandahan kasi yung magaganda, siguro alam niyo na based sa site at sa features na lumalabas sa reviews, ang di ko nagustuhan sa dd, ang iksi nga ng footboard compared sa axis at trick. so far yun lang di ko nagustuhan. you decide on what you like, wether its axis, yamaha or trick, since direct drives na yan, you'll never go wrong, may adjustment stage lang sa una since mas nasanay tayo sa chain or belt drives pero pag binigyan mo ng oras mag ensayo sa ano mang model na meron sa direct drives, mapapansin niyo yung difference. tayo ang nagmamaneho ng pedal, kaya kung may sumasabit man jan, di ang pedal ang dapat sisishin kung hindi din tayo, ensayo lang mga kapatid, kahit alin jan, para sa akin panalo.

di problem ang parts sa axis.in fact pag may masirang part sa axis mo at within warranty ka pa, ako mismo nagproprocess ng replacement ng nasirang part and free of charge sya.it is very important na sa authorized axis dealer mo kukunin yung pedal to avail of the support.
