Anyone into drone, noise, or ambient?

Anyone doing this kind of music locally?

Sunn 0)))! Isis! Sleep! Electric Wizard!

Hindi ko kaya. After listening to them, either I want to die, or I go straight to the toilet. :D

Haha, actually may John Peel session yung Sunn 0))) where they said they're goal was to massage their audience's intestines to defecation so sakto sa comment mo. :-D

It's not all post-metal guys like Pelican, Sleep or Isis though... Part of that community yung mga bands na minention nyo, but meron din softer side yung noise and drone, like Tim Hecker, Fennesz, Lahto...

I like the metal guys anyhow, but I usually go for the warmer more melodic and droney-er side of it.

Meron din super atonal stuff like Merzbow (the patron saint of modern noise) and Wolf Eyes na trip ko rin in small doses.

Sa ambient naman, Stars of the lid and of course Brian Eno; tsaka yung digital shades ep ng M83 ang dabest

I believe that the definition of definition is reinvention. To not be like your parents. To not be like your friends. To be yourself.

Completely.

The local band Reich Arrest's kinda ambient :-D but then again, so many bands are considered ambient, it's such a wide genre, they should also classify it like they do in metal (like there's groove, thrash, death etc)

When World War III begins, get as many boss pedals as you can and build your fallout shelter out of them - you may not survive but they will :-D
