PLS. HELP! HOW TO CONNECT A MIXER TO A LAPTOP

mga sir, i just want to ask if pwede ba iconnect ang mixer sa laptop na walang "line in" input? if so, how? im using a TASCAM PORTASTUDIO 414K MIXER, Old model na mga sir.

At the back of your Tascam are 2 RCA connectors called "line out or out"
You need to buy a cable called RCA to mini jack stereo and connect the mini jack to your microphone line in at the laptop.
Maybe you have to go to your control panel in your laptop and change in sounds and audio devices the line in from microphone to "what you hear" setting.

What laptop? If the laptop has absolutely NO line in, get an interface. DO NOT use the mic in to connect the laptop to the mixer.

bili ka sir ng interface, analog to digital un, usb ng laptop to rca connection nun ....

Sir KitC, i do that all the time with my pc's and laptop, no problem if i connect my boss br 8 and Fostex vf16  

You can change mic in to line in in the onboard soundcard................

In some cases, this can be true, but not all laptops are created equal. Some have their mic-ins hardwired so that the mic input stays mono regardless. Newer laptops can have reconfigurable I/O as do mobos manufactured as far back as 3-4 years ago, but I don't expect much when it comes to consumer/budget laptops. That's why I was asking for the specific model of laptop.

ASUS laptop sir, dual core. wala siyang line in e, kaya di ko po alam iconfigure. thanks sir.

add ko lang  delayed ang latency kung magrerecording ka kung iddirect mo sa sound card ng computer. Buy a decent external sound card for recording from MI AUDIO, yung lang alam ko hehe. check mo sa website nila. Or ewan ko lang kung pangrecording talaga yang equipment mo, na kaya idirect sa pc thru MIDI interface
