Starting Up a Lights & Sounds Rental??
« on: August 29, 2010, 07:44:46 PM »
Hi mga sir, I just want to ask, Im really curious about this cause somehow I think I would like to have one in the future. For those who has a rental company already, what can you advise to those who wants to start like me? how do one starts? Let's say Im gonna start it really small, around how much capital should I have? what specific equipments should I have first just to get started, then what kind of market/events yun pwde target for a small start up set up? I really want to have an idea on how things are going on this kind of business. Thank you very much!

first thing is,, buy the best that you can.. a good mid/high, subwoofer, power amp, mixer, EQ, crossover, microphone and audio player. if you're going do buy a 2ndhand equipment make sure the equipment is still in a good conditions.

                                sayang pera :) _
2  EL-36 or Sub-zero subwoofer with 1000Watts/5"Voice Coil
2  Power Amp. kung kaya mo Crell CA16 and CA20 go for it
1  Driverack PA (para di kana bili crossover/EQ tsaka feedback suppression)
2  Powered Monitor (siguro TNT na TS-15 okie na)

mixer, audio player and good microphone, patchcord nalang go kana.
sa lights dami din choices.

Owkie...

IMHO...There are 4 important things to consider in putting up a soundsytem...

1. A good quality speaker system, consider one that has a flat response and easy driven.
2. A reliable mixing console
3. A good quality audio processor
4. An Amplifier that has been tested and trusted.
