Pare mayroon akong JCM 900 at maganda ang tunog. Resale value rin ay maganda. Kung ako sa iyo kunin mo na ang marshall at huwag ang peavey. Tignan mo sa ebay kung magkano and JCM 900 at magugulat ka sa presyo.

very nice avatar by the way..

i disagree about resale value..

the peavey will hold its own value.

siguro mas mahal yung marshall sa ebay, but thats because mas mahal sya to start off with.

dami rin kasing klase ng jcm900 e. depende talaga. yung mga hiyang sa EL34 or 6L6, malamang di magugustuhan yung classic 30 or blues jr. yung mga trip naman yung mga ac30-type amps (EL84), malamang classic 30 kukunin.

sir bugoy, classic 30 din suggest ko. shempre biased hehe, naka halfstack pa saken sa 410E.. pero kung kalaban nya JCM800, ibang storya na yan!

when i was shopping for an amp and had decided i wanted a laney vc30, after trimming the list that included a classic 30, laney lc50, fender blues deville, i called up audiophile and tried to locate all their vc30's. one was in the main branch in manila and another was in cubao, the one that made me decide i wanted this amp. i asked them to deliver both to the boni branch, which is closest to the office, so i could test them side by side. took a long lunch break, 2 hours i think, and compared the 2. same amp model but they had slight differences. i went with the cubao amp. and we lived happily ever after... the end...

Mang Nathan, ano speakers sa loob ng nabili niyong Laney?  Nung tinesting nung kaibigan ko yung LC50 sa Cubao gandang ganda siya sa tunog pero nung tinesting namin yung sa MCS, hindi kami impressed.  Pag tingin namin sa speakers, Laney chuvachenes lang.  Yung nasa Cubao daw dati Celestion Seventy-80.

err... i cant remember the exact amount pero from 34k binaba nila yung price to around 27 or 29k yata. this was around the time idadagdag na yung 12% evat. death and taxes...

112 po yung nakuha ko. nasa 43k yata yung 210 e. tone against the other amps... hmmmm... mahirap sagutin without being vague and saying worn out descriptions like "it hit me in the gut" :lol: pero nasubukan ko na kasi yung classic 30 (meron si arjin and meron ako nahiram nito for recording dati) and jcm900 combo (meron 2 sa sounds familiar) and i just liked the vc30 better. some people will probably like the other 2 better. kanya kanyang taste.

H|H yung speaker nung sakin. yung mga bago daw celestion na yung speakers. i'd like to do a speaker upgrade someday. mukhang cheapest option yung weber e. parang gusto ko ng weber blue dog. sayang di na nagpapasok ang AP ng laney. on sale yata lahat ng laney nila ngayon.

:lol: thread jacking na 'to. anyway, what i wanted to say was, try to borrow all 3 amps on your list for a day kung pwede so you can do a side by side comparison. :)

Weber? Dude, aabutin ka ng mga $100-150 sa isa pa lang.  Try mo Eminence.  Meron akong parating, kwentuhan kita kung ok.  $60-65 lang ang isa.
