1988 ako sinilang. most of my influences ngayon ay from year 2000 up! pero may mga banda parin na pinapakinggan ko from 90's, dahil na rin siguro sa mga tito ko na more of a 90s guys(marami po sila). para sakin equal lang. ung magaling noon(ung buong tugtog ng albums nila dahil di ko naman napakinggan ng live) may mga kasing galing ngayon (the way how they sound live and their record and the sense of their lyrics). tapos ung mga hindi naman kagalingan noon (hindi ko masyado pinapakinggan) ay may mga katulad na parang trying hard nalang ngayon (ayoko nalang magbigay ng pangalan). hehe

just me. i appreciate what i appreciate. it doesn't matter if you like it or not. :-D

'Di hamak na mas magagaling at mas may sense ang mga bands dati kesa ngayon. Alam nating lahat 'yan. :-D

Sana more bands write in the native language. Not to be more nationalistic, but to have something that other places don't offer.

On a side note, remember Prettier Than Pink?

OPM man o FOREIGN.

bands and the music scene are great during the 70's. underground during the 80's are really "underground". 90's was a re-birth (as they say) of old music and reforming it to the new.. kaya pasok din.. 90's was more like of RAZORBACK, ADVENT CALL, WOLFGANG, the BREED, COLOR IT RED etc..

now, masyado nang maraming banda.. good dahil maraming talented, bad siguro kasi crowded na ang eksena and sometimes all sounds monotonous..

In any genre, there's something in the "old school" that can't be found in the "new school". even by comparing old and new albums of the same artist, there's really something in the older ones. And it cannot be explained.

It's something like a more "Raw" sound but it's not.

I might not agree with this... sensya na bro... kasi i still appreciate music from the past... and lots of People here appreciate Classical...

Music is: Its about Expressing your heart ,mind and soul into music...

Pero sad to say...

Dahil They Appreciate Classical, Blues, Jazz, Latin, Ancient Music... From the 1900's to year 2000 Genre's...

Bakit magagaling yung mga guitaristang Shredder nuong 70's 80's 90's?...

Dahil maraming nag tapos sa Classical...
Bakit maraming Jazzer and Blueser na mahuhusay nuon?... dahil nag aral sila or Nag lesson at least...

Lastly... Siguro sa mga bata ngayon... Try to Look Back... Appreciate the Past... Classical, Blues, Jazz, Latin... Andyan na lahat ng equipment... Learn from the past... and we will have better New Age of Music here in the Philippines...
