Depends with your hardware. In my experience, one of my laptops didn't have QE/CI support after installing Snow Leopard.

By the way, all resurces are free to download via internet. there are a lot of distros catering the OSX86 (Hackintosh) community.

Try the easiest one - SnowOSX Universal 3.6A via torrent (make sure to find the one with Intel/AMD/P4 support).
