sans amp gt2 vs liptone gt2 be the judge(video inside)

this is my liptone gt2 i got this last year march i think.i love this pedal a lot. the purpose of this video is to see kung may diffrence ba sila sa sound o wala. gear used fender stratocaster,laney35 watts,liptone gt2,sans amp gt2

Mahirap icompare na parehong knob settings kasi may mga discrepancy naman ang pots pagdating sa sweep kahit pareho ng values. Pero you can definitely nail an orig Tech21 GT-2's sound with Lipton's pedal.

Add ko lang true bypass switch yung kay lipton unlike sa sansamp gt2 jfet type.I used gt2 clone true bypass and madali lang timplahin marami kasi tone option.Na try ko na rin sa 18volts malaki tone difference.basta capable ng 18volts pedals mo

my nirerehouse ako naun gdi21. yun pinagcompare ko siya sa gt2 sansamp ko halos same sila except for the tweed settings. mas may gain yun tweed sa gdi21. pero sa calif and brit settings halos same lang sila ng tone. pero eto ang pansin ko sa dalawa mas stiff and compressed ang tunog ng gdi21 compared to orig sansamp. sa noise well mas maingay ang gdi21 compared sa orig.

sa video posted by djonathan, i like the tone of lipton gt2 clone mas makapal compared sa orig sansamp. i think lipton changed the standard TL07 opamp para mas malinis at maganda gain structure niya compared sa original.

i swear by my lipton gt2. iba siya talaga sa orig sansamp. eto parang puwede mo talaga isaksak sa front ng amp. transparent e. at mas malakas gain.

Change the op amp IC low quality kasi yan.You can different op amp,problem mo lang SMD components yan.Sa TL072 kasi malakas noise nya sa high gain settings.You can try TLC2262 P155@ sa epektos.
lagyan nyo ng eq sa after gt2 mas gaganda yung tunog kasi parang panget yung tone controls ng gt2

It was the first GT-2 clone I had so I had no basis of testing it side by side sa orig. Pero for one, it made me want to get an original Sansamp GT-2. It was really quite easy to dial in a good high gain sound both for the British and California modes. Medyo maingay nga lang compared sa orig, iirc.

Then I had an orig GT-2. Then Lipton's GT-2 clone. If I remember correctly, medyo maingay na pedal ang GT-2. I liked the original GT-2 the best (syempre), next would be Lipton's (maybe because I had the unit made to my liking -- parts used and design).

I used NE5532 except sa IC1 the rest NE5532 na.. less noise than TL072 IMO...

i will be making a demo unit na merong aggressive knob instead of the toggle i used before...
if things be ok on the bench, gawan natin yung sayo....
advice kita sa development.... so knobs would be gain bass treble and AGR maybe....
