starting slow really helps you focus on every single hit.. it's rewarding. and when you roll, make sure to end on the 1  :-)

Ang hirap lumipat mula snare to Toms baliktad kasi.

check out Carter Beauford, Simon Phillips, Mike Bordin...they are all lefties

practice single and double strokes...once you get comfortable, you can mix and match as you please
WHAT THE HELL!!!THAT IS NOT MUSIC!!!<br />-my Grandmother (RIP)

Guys! Share your technique naman about sa rolling (snare to tom-tom to floor tom)

Thanks.

Practice playing 8th notes, 16th notes, 8th note triplets, 16th note triplets and 32nd notes at various tempos with a metronome, first on a practice pad or on anything that will let your stick rebound then try to apply it on your drumset. Madedevelop mo lalo yung creative part ng rolling by listening more to music and trying to visualize what fill-in could fit in very well with that part and make it musical. (sorry kung taglish  :-D)

korek!
also learn some sticking stuff like the great double strokes and paradiddles and all of it's variants. you can spread this stuff all over the drumset which will result to some of the most fascinating drum chops/licks ever discovered.

to develop speed you need proper or some technique and tons of PRACTICE!!!
