Curious question about wearing a watch while playing drums

First off, hindi talaga to question to improve playing, but it has been bugging me. Please bear, hope to get nice answers

Nakakasira ba ng watch ang pag tugtog ng drums? Hindi talaga ako nagsusuot ng relo since di ako comfortable tumugtog with watch but just got a new watch recently which is quite expensive. Ayoko namang masira to pero Naisip ko rin na mejo inconvenient suotin at tanggalin on a regular basis. any experiences about this or do you wear one too while playing??

Better leave it na lang sa bahay.
You still have your mobile phone (I assume), to check the time. Or buy an alternate watch, kahit yung mga surf watch lang.

Good question to bro a,hehe.
I wear one but if its our set already, I have to remove them. Masakit sa loob na makita yung relo mo na basag yung glass after ng gig. Haha

I broke a watch when playing drums, luckily the glass didn't shattered into smaller pieces. It just cracked.

"As a drummer you should always be on time (he he he)". Dont wear a watch while playing drums IMO

or better ilagay mo nalang sa ligtas na lugar yung relo mo kapag sasalang na kayo sa stage, pero ingat ingat din kung mamahalin yung relo na yan, mahirap na buhay ngayon.

Come to think of it, I never really noticed that I have my watch on pala when playing at rehearsals and gigs...The risk I think is more on accidentally breaking your watch by hitting something while playing rather than breaking its mechanism due to quick movement of your arms, hands and wrist...

As you said, since uncomfortable ka wearing it while playing, keep it in a safe place during a set and wear it again once you're done...kung gusto mong japorms hehe

I used to remove my watch every time I play. Then I lost it.

So now, I don't remove my watch. Hindi ko naman siya natatamaan.

Ang kukulit.. Salamat sa reply mga bro.. Alam ko may watch na automatic.. yung walang Battery, yung powered by your hand's movement.. Enticing yun kasi talagang advisable pumalo pag ganung watch.,.

ayun nga, yung akin mejo mamahalin at imported tong relong to,.. Quartz yung Glass.. mabigat rin.. tsaka hindi ko nakasanayan pumalo while wearing watch.. try ko munang suotin to siguro tapos sanayin.. Pag light na tugtugan.. pero kapagka rakenrol.. I'll think twice.. sanayan nga.. Sana hindi masira, ewan ko kasi kung covered sa warranty yung "Playing Drums".. hahaha...

nako nako, ingat lang sa mga hardware nung kit at baka dun tumama yung relo mo at baka maisip mo na "sayang dapat hindi ko nalang sinuot" . pinakamasit makita sa bagong gamit ang unang gasgas.

Ako this is what I have been doing ever since.. Played awhile ago sa practice.. tinago ko lang rin yung relo.. gumagalaw kasi.. tapos added weight.. hehe.. As per my question, I have decided not to wear it while playing. Lagay lang ng mga input sir para makatulong sa ibang curious rin..

Before playing, I always remove my watch, mobile phone, wallet, panyo, barya at kung ano man ang nakalagay sa bulsa ng pants ko, feeling ko mas kumportable ganun.  Syempre may lagayan ako na bag besides me para secured.

metal ung strap nung watch ko so pag matagal na sumaskit ung wrist ko dahil sa kaka vibrate nung relo habang pumapalo ako... nakakasira ba? i think so dahil sa kaka vibrate nun habang pumapalo ko i think it shortens the lifespan of the watch kung d man magkaron ng accident like accidentally hitting it on ur snare drum. heheh!!  so if ur a drummer and u need to keep time while playing i suggest a leather strapped watch pra fixed sya sa wrist mo at hindi nag vivibrate... =)
