I recommend you buy the Boss LS2 looper.

pwede syang A/B and A+B, plus may 'volume' level control pa each loop.

Passive? That's the first time I've heard of it. Can you clarify?

The difference between 3PDT's and DPDT's are the number of "lugs" - DPDT's have 6 while 3PDT's have 9 - you can do true bypass wiring for both but the 3PDT enables another connection for LED indicator wiring rather than having to use a millenium bypass for the DPDT. Plus 3PDT's are more heavy duty than the Carling DPDT's. More rated "cycles" for it's usage. Most boutique pedal manufacturers use 3PDT's instead of DPDT's for convenience.

It just depends on what you are going to use the switches for. DPDT's are ok for some looper designs, some call for 3PDT's - but ask your looper builders next time what kind of switches they use - you might be surprised. I don't think they use DPD'ts because they're "passive", which makes them "better".

Cheers and Beers!
What I mean is that you don't need to have a power supply to run the looper. The LEDs need 3v(depende din sa LED) to power them up right? Ung DPDT wala siyang lug for LED. Kung gusto mo na may indicator ung looper pedal mo, you need 3DPTs(but may schem din para sa DPDT na may LED). Un lang po.

Thanks for the clarification - you were talking about a power / indicator issue. But you can also use 3PDT's to make a un-powered looper (without LED's).

So a looper without LED indicators are better for you? Maybe if it was just a single looper - but if you plan on having 3 or more it will get confusing very quick.

I'd suggest getting LED indicators on your looper even with DPDT's (millenium) if that's what you have - and if you are concerned about power, a 9v battery in your looper will last longer than you think (It's just powering LED's). So for me, an un-powered / no LED indicator in a looper isn't better. Just sharing an opinion.

Cheers and Beers!

get a custom looper, always install leds...really helps for a very small price. kahit isang loop lang and gagamitin mo...

moving forward.....

loopers. i got three...

1st loop is a kalikot Audio looper - 5 switches...how its gonna be wired is this:

loop 1 - loops another looper (2nd, bart looper) with other fuzzes and modulations.
loop 2 - 2 drives
loop 3 - 3 fuzzs with eq
loop 4 - modulations and filters
loop 5 - delays (for now its just a maxon dd-02, getting another delay soon)

at loop 1 - fuzzes and chorus - channel1: zoom fuzz;
channel 2: catalin bread v8 and teaser stallion

no rules to using your looper. whatever your ears say, goes. basically, mixing and matching. the more the merrier!

my third looper is from mahavishnu(c/o filippo) - switches from pedal board 1 to pedal board two.

here's another idea...get a small pedal board(floor) and loop another small pedal board, put it on a keyboard stand. and utilize your feet and fingers!

will post photos in a week or two. as soon as it's done....

Since the DD6's tap tempo is on the pedal itself and I don't use delay for every song, I put my DD6 on a loop so that the tap tempo is the pedal itself and the on/off is the loop.

I use it in a pseudo-FS5U sort of way.
