Battle of the Battery Powered Amps !

SMALL BUT TERRIBLE!!!

Roland Microcube vs. Vox DA5 vs.Line 6 Micro Spider vs. Fender Mini Deluxe vs. Pignose vs. Crate TX15 vs.Vox Mini 3... etc. etc.

Perfect for bedroom guitarists, OFW's (to pack light), Travelling Musikeros, Students, Cafe Jams, So light and mobile they are sooo damn fun to use...what are the other Battery Powered Amps out there today? What are your recommendations? Which to avoid? Reviews?

GO! Kindly share your thoughts.

imo, para sa kagaya kong may praktis amp na, di na ako magsasayang pa ng pera kung battery powered amps lang naman. acoustic guitar nalang siguro bilhin ko.  :lol:

I myself don’t listen some of "mainstream" bands/artist, but it doesn’t mean that I hate them. As a matter of fact, I respect them.
There is some music that I really don’t like (emo/screamo), but then again I don’t hate them, I simply don’t like them.

Masaya na ako sa ganito ko sa bahay. Swabe pa overdrive. Murang mura pa sa JBmusic.
Hindi ko na kailangan gumastos ng malaki para sa battery powered amps kasi may guitar amp naman na ako.

Microcube din ako...though minsan medyo nagfafart yung speakers sa clean tone..pero overall pwede siya magaan kasyang kasya sa backpack!..sarap dalhin sa Park para magpicnic and kantahan with the tropa.....nanduon yung nice effects...and di i say magaan?

Sarap sana ng DA-5 kasi may Auto wah...

I think you're underestimating the value of these amps. Or maybe yung mga naka clip lang sa guitar strap or yung mga Marshall MS-2 and the like yung nasa isip mo.

I have a Roland Microcube RX, which can run both on batteries and AC power. It can be just as loud as most 10-15 watt practice amps. The amp sims (especially the clean ones) and effects are pretty good. And surprisingly, it takes in pedals incredibly well. I also use it as a portable PA system when I do presentations.

I love my AC30, but the Microcube has been a really great buy for me.

i have this. gamit ko habang nag-aantay ng sched sa studio. minsan, may mga lumapit sa akin, tinanong kung saan ko nabili. hehehe. masarap din pang-warm-up during gigs with a good pair of headphones.

i have a roland microcube which serves the purpose at night. whenever nauwi ako pinas then i blast my neighbors with my half stack. :evil:

the microcube is a great modeling amp. i always use the cleans and the rectifier modes and masaya nako dun for the meantime until magkaron ng DRRI cguro or twin
