Studio Monitor Speakers Placements,Angles and Height

hallow! hmmm ayon sa mga research ko dati ang the best daw na position at height ng isang near field monitor speakers eh dapat daw equal triangle daw from left to right speakers to engrs chair tapos naka harap yung cone facing you... so bali naka angle (tama ba yung term?) sya...  tapos yung sa height naman,, dapat daw yung tweeter eh nasa mejo itaas ng ears mo haha! totoo ba tong mga to?

tapos may iba naman ang sinasabi eh dapat daw naka tuwid yung position ng speakers... pero equal triangle din.. basta wag daw i-angle.. para daw mas rinig yung stereo effect... hmmm di ko alam kung ano sa dalawa ang dapat pero,,, sa mundong eto tama bang intindihin mo ang salitang DAPAT? hihihi well syempre depende yan.. pero sa sitwasyong eto... speaker positioning, may tama bang placement para dito?

meron tamang placement. may tamang distance din yan from walls in front, at sa likod ng sweet spot. may distance din yan sa left and right walls...

The monitors and mix position should form an equilateral triangle. The monitors should have identical distances from the side and rear walls. Tweeters are preferably at ear level. Diffusers and absorbers should be placed at strategic positions to minimize and scatter reflections. Google the mirror trick as an example. I've put heavy bass traps and corner traps behind my monitors, then a diffuser above.  Never had so accurate monitoring ever, from such a small space.

I tried to defy everything that some of the old folks said... They prefer having the rear of the monitors placed a bit far from the wall.  In my case, I minimized the distance and just put 6" thick rockwool basstraps, and a cornertrap.  I just covered them in zebrawood laminate.  The diffuser on top is custom-made for the room dimensions.  The corner traps/HF absorbers in the ceiling are also custom-made to absorb certain frequencies.
