Had a chance to record Noel's talent way back mid 90's in the recording studio. He brought along his nasty Ibanez (the white one) but he repainted it to cracked finish with Pylox. Very down to earth guy.

back in 1996 I went to a house in teacher's village to check out a vintage marshall combo amp i saw in the Buy and Sell ad mag. it turned out na si Noel Mendez pala yung owner nung amp. I saw his white Ibanez, that time nakatabi lang kasi mataas ang action and hindi niya nagagamit.he ended up buying my Ebow and me buying his amp. was supposed to get guitar lessons from him after that but lumipat na siya ng Novaliches, masyadong malayo for me kaya hindi na natuloy. After a few months, Mike Villegas informed me na nanakaw daw yung pedalboard ni noel and kasama yung Ebow he got from me.
