Hey fellow Fender geeks!

Have anyone of you seen the specs and the reviews on the 2012 Fender Select Series Stratocaster

is this just another marketing gimick o sa tingin niyo ok ito based on the specs and reviews? :) share your thoughts naman on this mga kumpadre :)

Well, John Suhr did work for Fender with Steve Smith at the Custom Shop. Just sayin'. LOL

I'd take this over a Suhr any day. The headstocks on Suhr guitars just look weird to me.

heard a select strat plugged into Van Halen's new amp when i visited a guitar shop a few months ago. okay naman. mas kumakanta siya sa mga ibang non custom shop Fender models. hey, its the first batch so baka "ginandahan" ng konti.

Tone wise? Suhr, mas consistent.

you can get a custom shop Fender for $2k, though you must test it first, not all custom shop strats sound good.

if you were to buy online without testing, SUHR na, just my 2 cents.

better yet, test both, and take home whichever you like better.
