I'm thinking of replacing the bottom plates on my Dunlop wah and volume pedal and I was wondering if there was a place that could make me replacement units that are thick enough (probably half a cm at least) for the jacks to rise above the edges of my Stagg pedalboard. I have the wah and volume at either end of the chain and it would be nice to place them on the edge of the board so I can save some space (putting L-plugs in require about an inch or so of clearance.
Has anyone here on the forums tried going to these aluminum fabricators to have guitar-related stuff made for them? How much did it cost and how long did it take for them to finish it?
