Spotting a Fake Sennheiser Wireless Mic
« on: October 25, 2010, 07:21:27 AM »
Just for comparison I borrowed my friends Fake Sennheiser Mics and compared it with my original SKM100 Handheld Transmitter.

FAKE SKM100
note: Made In Germany, Freq. Preset is 765.000 while label Freq. range is 790.000 - 822.000Mhz

Original SKM100 Designed in Germany, Assembled in USA

Original G3 SKM100 Designed in Germany, Assembled in USA

FAKE SKM100 w/ Fake Capsule           SKM100 w/ 145          G3 SKM100 w/ 865
(both original and with a removable capsule)

FAKE SKM100 with wires compared to the Original SKM100 with removable capsule

Below FAKE Receiver w/ identical serial numbers and Made In Germany?
 :-o  :-D

Nope, check the frequency and the wires, G1 should have a removable capsule, it is even indicated on G1 ew100 manual. and Fake receivers have identical serial numbers.  :-)

It is very simple to avoid fakes....ALWAYS BUY FROM THE OFFICIAL DISTRIBUTOR....if the price is so cheap that is another sign of a FAKE
