« on: May 07, 2013, 10:22:16 PM »
Guys, how do you deal with it? Like if the guitar amps sound as bad as hell and the microphone's all down.. What should we do?? Help.

Bring your own sound system, guitar amps, and sound system operator.

Bring your own backline, and mixer with in-ear monitors. If you can't afford that, don't complain.

bring your own gear. it is usually not worth it, especially if you are only playing 3-6 songs in front of other bands who are waiting for their turn to go next

The real solution is to treat the bar itself. Tough if it's not your place. The quick band-aid solution is to put a "House EQ" on the rack and equalize your place using a sound level meter. Flatten out all bands using that EQ.

get your music together before hitting the stage. true musicality shines no matter what the setup is.

bring your own amps, microphone, etc..

is your equipment outdated? is it EQ'd correctly based on the acoustics of the venue???

. . unless pangit po talaga ang equipment
