yup i play an electric violin. i sometimes use some guitar effects on it

ano po ung model ng electric violin niyo?

never pa akong nakatugtog ng ganun. 3rd year music student na ko sa ust tapos major ko ang violin... pero never ko pa na-try mag jazz..

nadinig ko na ung ibang jazz violinist pero ive never met one.

i have 2 electric violins
a yamaha sv 120k and a bachendorff electric strad series

san po ba may tindahan ng ganun na affordable dito sa 'pinas?

stephane grappelli is one of my influences. their stuff is kind of hard to do. i play music similar to noel pointer's

that's so cool sir! jazz violinist astig! actually i've read an article about stephane grappelli...classical ang training niya, very versatile but he made a jazz-crossover...heard him too, ang galing! out of this world ang style niya for me

i don't know if the buzzing noise is inherent for electric violins but each one has its good & bad points though
like for example on my yamaha, it's easier to practice without disturbing anyone because i could just simply plug in the earphones to hear the sound i'm producing, as for my bachendorff, i don't need batteries because it's electro-acoustic
