Ganyan din ako dati sinusubukan i-emulate tone niya.
In the end na-realize ko if kung gusto mo maging exact or best na malapit sa tone niya is get a Mesa Boogie Mark IV/V.
Sa huli naghanap na lang ako ng mga unit (amp/effects) na andun yung gusto ko na tone na comfortable ako na andun yung gist ng "metal tone" or "prog metal tone" na trip ko. Tapos ensayo na lang.

Sa mga analog pedals pinaka-nagustuhan ko for that is yung Wampler Triple Wreck at Hughes and Kettner Warp Factor.
I would suggest modeling amps din. Get a Blackstar ID15, Roland Cube, or Vox Valvetronix.

Basically modeling niyan is galing sa Boss/Roland so a Roland Cube or Boss GT-10 or 100 can do it.
