on a double humbucker 3-way toggle switch combination, can the middle position be wired to series (neck and bridge on and in series)?

I guess not without a  push pull pot if you want to keep it looking stock.

i think pwede. you'll need pickups with 4 conductor connectors though

normally, the pickups would be wired like this
pickup 1: ground -> N start -> N end -> S end -> S start -> switch (or pot; hot)
pickup 2: ground -> N start -> N end -> S end -> S start -> switch (or pot; hot)

what you want is for them to be wired like this
pickup 1: ground -> N start -> N end -> S end -> S start -> switch (or pot; hot)
pickup 2: ground -> S start -> S end -> N end -> N start -> switch (or pot; hot)

I think it'll work. or magiging OOP yung 2 pickups.
