If you are into rap metal or something with lots of shouting and growling I would suggest to use a dynamic mic. SM58 ang swak dito especially on your budget. I Dont think you can get good results on Large Diapragm Condenser Mic even with expensive ones with your genre.
Ang recording equiptment used kasi depends on what is being recorded. Kahit gumamit ka pa na mamahaling microphone kung hindi naman swak sa inirerecord ay hindi rin maganda ang resulta.
