How to play guitar solos

may gumagawa ba ng solos using different modes? ano ba ang mga approaches sa ganun? thanks!

haha ayos lang sana kung totoong napapangiwi siya sa hirap ng solo. kaso 2 notes lang e. haha.

Haha.. nung college battle of the bands wayback 2010, meron ako nakasamang isang gitarista na todo ang facial expression kahit practice lang sa studio 

Ang masama neto, sintunado solos nya, like he is using the Am scale on Em, Dm, E, G,F,Bb root chord..and puro full-speed tremolo picking lang ginagawa nya 

Nasa isip nya siguro,"mabilis naman eh, di na nila mahahalata kung sintunado"

One of the more melodic solos of our time. Iba yung narinig mo lang tapos you get to watch it part by part sa Youtube.

Two different scenarios: pag long jam (Blues/Jazz/etc) the goal is to explore and expand your reactions to the music, parang stream of consciousness... kumbaga sa rap, nagfi-freestyle ka.

Pag short solos, you have to make a statement. Direct to the point dapat, wala masyadong side-stories.

Sa Awit ng Kabataan (most of my other solos) meron akong loose structure na magkahalo ang statements at exploration. For example: alam kong meron akong string skipping tapped arpeggio sa isang specific part ng solo, pero hindi exact ang repetitions and treatment: minsan straight 16ths lahat, minsan may halong 32nd notes, minsan may double tap... etc. This IMO keeps the solo interesting for me para kahit ilang beses ko sya tugtugin, andun pa rin ang element of improv.

never pa ako bumilis sa solos. cguro parang pang slow blues 85bpm something.. ala wonderful tonight ni slowhands.
pano ko ba magagawang bumilis to? 8yrs na akong ganito.. (meaning yung other 5 years eh mas mabagal wahahaha iyak)
