Zoom MS50g headphones/earphones issue
« on: October 04, 2013, 10:56:36 AM »
Pwede ba direct to headphones/earphones yung ZOOM MS50g gamit ang 3.5 to 1/4 adapter gaya ng nasa picture? Salamas.

P.S. Natanong ko na to sa Zoom Thread dati, no luck.

You are correct. Just stumbled across the fx list pdf and it mentions headphones when output is set to 'line'.

Yung nilink ng OP is stereo (note, the two stripes by the tip). I use the same plug for my G3 and have no problems whatsoever.

What I mean is pag sa L mono mo ka lang nakaplug, kahit stereo yung jack mo sa isang part lang sya ng headphone tutunog, ngayon pag dalawang mono plug ang nakaplug sa both output both L and R ng headphone tutunog (na parang nakaplug ka sa dalawang amps).

Naghahanap ako ng combination of the two sa Ace Hardware kaso wala akong makita.
I maybe wrong but this set-up worked for me.

Oh, okay then. I guess I didn't do my homework on the Multistomp. The left output takes headphones on the G3. Confirmed this when I recorded/practiced most of my electronic stuff + guitar. TGP said something about headphone functionality on the Multistomp but I'm not sure if they have the same issues you do.

The above method wont work since the 2 output 1/4 jack are both mono.

You'll need the dual 1/4 male jack to 1/8 stereo female audio jack.

Once you have the dual mono to stereo cable, you then need to set an optimal headphone setting (mostly w/ amp sim) for your headphone practice.

http://www.showmecables.com/product/3-5mm-Stereo-Jack-Dual-1-4-IN-Mono-Plug-Breakout-Cable.aspx

Btw, I use mine w/ a cheap Fiio E3 just between the MS50g and the Earphone for a much fuller sound.

Just add a headphone amp like Fiio E3 (worth P300 - P500 only) then tweak the sounds accordingly... I kid you not, the sound will improve 10x and it will be a lot louder than you'll ever want it to be.

Then you can use the  Fiio E3 when connecting your headphones onto any of your MP3 players... :)

I plug mine into a Marshall MS-2 and plug my earphones into the Marshall for silent practice.

Sa pedalboard naman, the last pedal in the chain is a Womanizer and I plug my earphones into it with no issues.

After I tried plugging in straight into my MS70CDR and I didn't hear anything, I pretty much knew that its I/O is different from the old generation Zooms.
