Not possible. You'll have to trade in your mic for a regular AT2020.

Well, the mic contains an interface, and unless you're gonna need more than one mic, or more than one USB audio interface (good luck setting that one up), then you can just plug in directly to the USB.

You can install ASIO4ALL to use the USB MIC and Interface Simultaneously.

that way, you can record with the mic, and monitor with the interface.

Do the ASIO4ALL thing, and check back when it doesn't work. certain sound cards and integrated sound chips can be pretty finicky.

daan mo na lang sa EQ or preamp/coloring plugin. Assuming you're using the preamp to give the signal color and clarity, it won't help the sound that much, given that it's (just) an AT2020. However, if you're using the preamp to push the gain, well, USB condensers are actually very hot.

FYI, the AT2020 is one of today's studio grade microphones at an entry level price.

overall it actually had the better sound [tested against the CAD e100² with a street price of about $250 and the Neumann BCM 104 with a street price of about $800] for the vocalists who were recorded.”

The built in pre is clear enough (it's not gonna be THAT clearer with the pre, like I said, it's an AT2020), and actually very hot already so levels aren't a problem unless you're recording really loud stuff like drums.

If your levels are very low, did you actually get to tweak the gain either from the driver or Windows Sound?

Yes, but it will lose much less toanz passing through a (built-in) USB interface preamp than say an AT4040. Still the best mic for the price though, I'm getting one myself this year!

In my opinion, I find it better to record raw than recording in color. This will leave you with tons of options later in the mixing. You can do reamping (or in your case re-preamping) naman later on by sending a physical loop to your interface preamp if you want that.

AT2020 is a pretty decent mic. Even its USB version.
