where can i buy 000 grid steel wool??

I dunno what grade they are, but they are fine enough for all my steel wool needs.  SM supermarkets, household cleaning supplies section.  I think it costs about P50, I'm not sure coz I bought this years ago (obviously 12 of them lasted quite awhile for me).

i also use those Arix steel wools for my guitars, i even tried applying metal polish over the frets (with the fretboard masked, of course) before finishing up with the steel wool. i'm not sure if this approach does any harm. any thoughts on this?

i discovered that you can actually remove blemishes and light dents on UNFINISHED parts of the wood by slowly rubbing the steel wool over the blemished part. just rub in one direction, as if you're using sandpaper.

After seeing this thread, naghanap ako sa Ace Hardware, sakto nag-iisa na lang @ P44.75. Dumulas yung fretboard ko after polishing, mas masarap ng tumipa
