HELP On Pedal Board Carpet
« on: September 02, 2016, 06:25:56 PM »
Hello Sirs! I'm currently building a "bare bones" pedal board that I can use for the on the go rehearsal or last minute jam. I plan to use an old laptop bag and a wood plank as a base that will fit right in the bag. Hope you can give me tips as to where I can buy and what type of pedalboard carpet I can use, preferably a fabric that will hold velcro steadily. Thanks in advance. Cheers

I tried looking for a carpet material to stick to plywood myself, but couldn't find any that are being sold here. I can tell you that a Metro Department Store in Alabang Town Center sells strips of Velcro that you'll have to stick with contact cement ("rugby") yourself, that is reasonably priced, but you'll have to buy the strips in hook and loop pairs. Good luck.
