Connect the supplied usb cable to your pc. Once your pc recognise your pod open the pod hd500x edit. I dont connect my headphone to the pc instead use the headphone out of the hd500x or if you have powered speakers you can connect them either to the xlr out or 1/4 out just remember to select the studio direct out on the hd500x setting so that you can utilise the amp and cab sims fully. Your hd500x now is acting like a soundcard and at the same time guitar interface. Your pc is just for monitoring purpose. And if you want to record download reaper great software.
