EDIT

refretting e tatanggalin ung fretwires ng neck ng guitar and replacing them with new ones. :-D

i asked GH lately and they said it would cost around 3k.

mdami bro eh.

isang scenario: pudpod na ung 12th fret dahil sa kaka-bend ng string (hehe) so nagkaka fretbuzz na kasi hindi na enough ung height ng fretwire.

so pinapalitan. and sir arie advised me na its better to refret the entire neck instead of refretting one single fretwire.

I am about to refret my Fender Strat.

There is already a type of fret that is made of stainless steel but its inherent tone is like your favorite nickel frets. This is distributed in Japan by KZ guitar works (also made in Japan - the frets).

Can you imagine? Stainless steel that sounds like nickel? That means I don't have to worry about my guitar tone and still get a set of frets that lasts a long long time.

Sana our guitar repairers can get access to these fretwires
