Evaporative Coolers sa studio?

meron bang gumagamit sa inyo nito? How safe sa studio equipments ito in terms of humidity? at saka health, kasi diba nagpa-pass sa wood yung tubig hindi ba nagbubuhay yung bacteria doon? may mga airborn disease ba na nakukuha dito? meron bang gumagamit sa inyo nito?

can you elaborate kung ano itong evaporative cooler na ito? you mean humidifier?  :?

I remember from my HVAC subject in Mech. Engg. that evaporative cooling raises the humidity levels considerably. In the Philippines, humidity levels are often considered saturated (or super saturated) enough that moisture will often condense on cool surfaces. Now imagine that same condensation happening on (or worse, in) your studio equipment...

Yep, in the US, having humidifiers is a must in a lot of cases, especially when you have guitars staying in the same place. There is a specific humidity level that you need to maintain in order to make sure the glue and wood on your guitars don't go drying out. I have my humidifier on most of the day and I've got a meter reading the humidity level just to make sure my "babies" are alright:)

Evaporative cooling system talaga sya halos kasinlamig ng aircon makikita nyo ito ngayon sa mga handyman meron silang display pero out of stock kasi nga maganda sya malamig talaga meron ngang model na pwedeng lagyan ng softdrinks.

Anyway nalaman ko na hindi sya ganon ka efficient kung sarado room so hindi rin pwede sa studio.
