what can you say about genesis drumset compare to fernando, lazer and maya?

i duno really never actually owned one.. fernando i think is getting better in ways of quality.

hmmm i owned a genesis series date... way back 2001 ok namn cia matibay! sablay lang yung mga stands pero sa yamaha ko nav\bili yung akin date around 15k lang ata?? mejo maliit yung toms nya pero panalo yung snare!!

I have a GSD-51M set that has the cheesy black powder-coated hoops and double braced hardware.  Pretty much like a Pearl Export model, only that the toms are power-sized (10x12, 11x13) and it has a 6.5x14 steel power snare.  It can compete with a lot of semi-pro/pro kits in the market.  Listen to this...  I used it in the recording for this song:

naka try na ako ng ganyan dati.. matagal na un.. audition para sa batle of the bands yun. ok naman cya parang fernando at lazer. ang problema nga lang yung nagamit ko. yung paa ng flor tol kulang eh. kaya natutumba. kailangan pa patungan ng kahoy tapos yung mga cymbals ang panget.. hehehe. ok lang auditon pa lang un. nung tugtog na tlga tama na yung gamit eh. pero para sakin recomended naman yang geneses kung medyo kulang ka sa budget.

mga sir, baka may nakaka alam po sa inyo kung ano manufacturer ng genesis na drumset? local lang po ba 'to?? how about zildjian scimitar? magkano po ba brand new? mas mataas po ba yun sa ZBT? pls help me..

Sa pagkakaalam ko, it's known as the Yamaha Genesis Drumset, pero wala talagang series na ganun ang Yamaha. I even doubt na sa same factory siya ginagawa as the Rydeen and Stage Customs. Pero local quality yan, like the old Fernandos. Parang Solar by Sabian.

As for Zildjian Scimitars, discontinued model na 'to. Wala ka nang mabibili na brand new. Zildjian ZBT's na ang pumalit dito. Pareho sila sa pricing at series line, sa tingin ko magkaiba ang quality ng mga cymbals na 'to. Yung mga sheet bronze dati mas magaganda ata sa sheet bronze ngayon. I'm speaking from experience. I own Scimitar hihats and a ride, and I always get to try out ZBTs sa mga practice studio and bar drumkits.

So local lang po yung Genesis? Sa anong brand po kaya natin pwede icompare and sound quality + durability nya? How about Trak drums? Local din po ba? Manufacturer?

Mas maganda po pala ang Scimitars kesa sa mga ZBT's ngayon?

Yung Trak, parang kapareho lang eh. Kung gusto mo ng cheap na kit na medyo maganda na, tingin ka ng mga bagong Fernando. Ang Trak kasi, they used to be a brand na nagmanufacture sa Australia and other countries pero na-phase out din. I think the Traks na natira, mga taiwan-made din like the old fernando's, LA Drums, etc.

As for Scimitars, I might have bias kasi I own these, kaya sa paningin ko, mas maganda 'to sa ZBTs. Kaso since phased out na, hindi ka na makakabili ng brand new nito. Tsaka no-match pa rin 'to sa mga cast cymbals tulad ng A's, A Customs, K's, Sabian AA/HH's, etc.
