Pickguard Matching
« on: June 04, 2007, 10:02:44 AM »
I need suggestions for matching body color with pickguard color/design for a project I'm doing soon.  Qualify if necessary (example:  rosewood/maple fretboard, etc.) but to simplify things, let's leave out the brand and model of the axe. Here's what I've seen that looks appealing:

Black,Red,Yellow Sunburst/Red Tort Pickguard
Candy Apple Red (or any full-bodied red for that matter)/White Pickguard
Natural/Plain White or Black Pickguard (specially with nice Ash body)
Deep Black body with White Pearloid Pickguard
"Honey" on Plain White Pickguard (imagine bright orange "kutchinta" on newly grated coconut meat)

Okay Dudes, your turn.
